sunday's mass
phew ! it's kinda dusty here... haven been updating. actually i cnt figure out what im busy with ! it's just that i don't even have the time to go online ! hahs ! everyday is just filled with something ! anyway i shall update about 2 events. first being the ndp last trg, second being the confirmation mass i attended.
well, the last trg was a great experience. Nicky sir let all the 10/09s run the show ourselves. and i think xiao li definitely deserves the greatest applause ! i was doing F&B that day. pretty slack as the only time i nid to run ard is when we reach nee soon camp and we have to go collect the food. but i help out with alot of logs stuff too. like packing the shoe bag and doing glucose water etc etc. i realize that logs is not as simple as it is. all the things you pack and all the items that we bring there must be accounted for and the quantity we bring over must be logical. not too much but yet not too little. actually the thing i worry most was the food. i must ensure that the SAF gave us the correct amt and stuff. hahs ! so overall, it had been a super tiring day ! AND the party we had aft that trg was great ! the pictures we took, the video weilin ma'am took. OMG ! hahs ! it shall stay within the 4 walls ! BUT ! it was really freaking funny ! laugh till i got no more energy left !
now about the confirmation mass. i saw crystal !!! in white ! LOL ! okays obviously i will see her, she is getting confirmed. anyway what i wan to talk about is the story that the archbishop shared with us. the story is about a man who goes to the holy man and said that he wants to be with God. he wanted to experience the holy spirit. everyday he will go to the holy man, asking him how can he attained that. finally one day, the holy man brought him to a pool of water. the man was very happy as he tot that the holy man was going to baptise him, just like the way john baptise jesus. but when the holy man push his head into the water,he didnt let go. the man started struggling and struggling. after much of struggling, the holy man let go. the man came up immediately. the holy man then says, what was you thinking when i held your head under the water ? the man replied, i will give up everything just for one breath of air. this story is saying that to be filled with the holy spirit and to be with God, you must give up everything and give your whole self to God. only then the holy spirit can enter fully.
